Manchester City continue their Premier League title defence when they host Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday evening.

Pep Guardiola's Cityzens had to come from behind to beat RB Leipzig in Europe on Tuesday night but their injury issues are minimal as they prepare to host Ange Postecoglou's Spurs at the Etihad.

Here's the side they could deploy in the hope of picking up three points on Sunday.

GK: Ederson - Showcased his wonderful passing range in the 1-1 draw with Liverpool, picking out Bernardo Silva with a mesmerising ball towards the end of the first half.

CB: Kyle Walker - Took a lump out of some advertising boards when he faced former side Sheffield United and conceded a goal earlier this season. Has lost five of his 13 meetings with old club Spurs.

CB: Ruben Dias - Has mucked up slightly in recent games against Chelsea and RB Leipzig but is unlikely to drop out of the starting XI as a result just yet.

CB: Nathan Ake - May replace Josko Gvardiol and his threat from set pieces shouldn't be forgotten against a Spurs side unlikely to field a natural centre-back.

CM: Rodri - A permanent fixture in City's deep midfield but still shows enough attacking knowhow to contribute goals and assists.

CM: Manuel Akanji - The latest defender to be shuffled into midfield, Akanji was caught out as Lois Openda ran through City's core and opened the scoring.

RM: Phil Foden - Was a leading figure as City came back to win Tuesday's game, setting up Erling Haaland before grabbing the equaliser.

AM: Bernardo Silva - Revealed he thinks Liverpool are "back" as title contenders after last week's draw.

AM: Julian Alvarez - Should return to the starting XI after grabbing the late 87th minute winner in midweek.

LM: Jeremy Doku - Belgium international Doku's examination of Spurs right-back Pedro Porro could have a large bearing on the result on Sunday.

ST: Erling Haaland - Currently has a pitiful record of one goal in two games against Spurs, but with Emerson Royal and Ben Davies deployed at the back, Haaland will be licking his lips at his scoring chances.
