Nathan Ake's late goal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, City's first as Spurs' new ground, set up Tuesday night's FA Cup fifth-round tie at Luton Town's Kenilworth Road.

The Hatters have impressed on their Premier League bow, and they briefly dreamed of securing a memorable home win over City in December before the visitors scored twice in quick succession after half-time.

Pep Guardiola's side will be hoping to avoid the magic of the cup in midweek, and here's the team the Spaniard could put out in Luton on Tuesday night.

GK: Ederson - Guardiola has a fine alternative in Stefan Ortega, but Ederson, who started City's fourth-round win, will likely continue between the sticks.

CB: Kyle Walker - The defender dropped out of the side at Bournemouth following a poor run of form, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see him quickly reintroduced.

CB: Ruben Dias - John Stones could be considered for this role, but Guardiola's cautious management of the Englishman's minutes means Dias should remain at the heart of the defence.

CB: Manuel Akanji - The versatile defender has emerged as City's Swiss army knife. He can play anywhere across the backline.

CM: Rodri - While City could rotate fairly heavily considering their hectic February schedule, the ubiquitous Rodri will remain the constant in the middle of the park.

CM: Mateo Kovacic - The former Chelsea midfielder is starting to impress in City colours and could be deployed alongside Rodri with Stones likely to drop to the bench.

RM: Oscar Bobb - The Norwegian starlet has become more prominent in 2024, although Premier League starts have come few and far between. This is a great opportunity for Bobb to return to the fold.

AM: Kevin De Bruyne - After disappointing FPL owners at the weekend, De Bruyne is a near certainty to start at Kenilworth Road.

AM: Julian Alvarez - Questions have been raised regarding Alvarez's competence in a deeper midfield position, but he should have plenty of freedom to operate close to Erling Haaland if he is included in this set-up.

LM: Jack Grealish - It's been a frustrating start to the calendar year for Grealish, who's only recently returned from a brief injury layoff. However, the winger could make his first start since the victory in Copenhagen on Tuesday night.

ST: Erling Haaland - The Norwegian striker has certainly proved himself to be human in recent outings, and he should make his first FA Cup start of the season in midweek.
