For a while, it seemed like things just weren't going to click into gear for Manchester City despite the arrival of the most prolific centre forward in Europe.

Despite his freakish ability to put the ball in the back of the net, questions arose at several points this season whether Erling Haaland was a help or hindrance to Pep Guardiola's side - genuinely.

Nevertheless, any doubts have been debunked over the past two months with City embarking on a vintage unbeaten run at a crucial point in the campaign that has left them with a good chance of securing a historic treble.

Arsenal are pushing them all the way in the Premier League, but recent results mean the title is now the Citizens' to lose. A Champions League semi-final, as well as the FA Cup final are also in the pipeline.

Here's what City's next six fixtures look like.

Many tipped Fulham for relegation, but Marco Silva's side are instead fighting for a top-half berth.

The Cottagers have exceeded expectations and some this season, and they may well end up as the highest-placed west London outfit in the Premier League. While they have little to play for, they've proven they can compete against the big boys this term.

Manchester City vs West Ham - Premier League

West Ham secured a couple of huge domestic results in April which eased fears of them succumbing to the second tier.

As a result, this trip to the Etihad is a free-hit. What have they got to lose? David Moyes' side have already aided City's title charge by taking two points off Arsenal in their recent meeting.

Manchester City vs Leeds - Premier League

Leeds will have to battle until the very last in their bid for survival. They currently sit above the drop zone, but their position is precarious, to say the least.

Man City away is a fixture they won't be looking forward to at such a crucial stage of the season, but, like West Ham, what have they got to lose when they visit the Etihad? There are no expectations.

Guardiola will be grateful for the pair of kind home Premier League fixtures that precede their Champions League semi-final first leg against Real Madrid.

Man City will fly out to the Spanish capital for the opening leg before returning to the Etihad. It's a reverse of last season's semi-final, which proved to be nothing short of a two-legged classic.

Every game is critical for Sean Dyche's Everton, especially at Goodison Park. While City will be heavily favoured here, this is a potential banana skin fixture seeing as it arrives in between their semi-final tie.

Everton have already beaten Arsenal on home soil this season, and they'll happily take points off the Citizens, too. They aren't very good, however.

The Etihad hosted a thrilling 4-3 draw between these two sides last season, and similar melodrama is expected on 17 May.

Everything is bound to be at stake in the second leg following the first leg in Madrid with a spot in the Champions League final on the line. Surely it's time for Guardiola to secure his first continental crown in Manchester?
