Fluminense midfielder Andre Trindade has admitted he is flattered to see his name linked with Liverpool but remains focused on his current employers.

As 90min revealed earlier this month, Andre is high on Liverpool's list of potential alternatives to Romeo Lavia, who ultimately snubbed interest from the Reds in favour of following Moises Caicedo to Chelsea.

Liverpool have already wrapped up the signing of Wataru Endo but remain keen on adding another midfielder before the transfer window closes, with 22-year-old Andre among the names being considered.

Fulham are also admirers of Andre, whose representatives have spoken with Barcelona and Arsenal as well.

Asked about the interest in his services, Andre admitted he is relishing seeing such big clubs watching his performances.

"Obviously it's normal to receive offers," he told Globo Esporte. "Even more so when the team is doing well, qualifying from the Copa Libertadores, and at the top of the league. Others must have got them as well.

"I'm happy to get those proposals, but today, my mind is 100% focused on Fluminense."

Andre has been a core part of the Fluminense side that have reached the quarter-final of the Copa Libertadores, starting all but one game so far in the tournament.

90min understands that Fluminense are determined to keep hold of Andre while they remain in the competition. They're due to take on Paraguayan side Olimpia in the last eight, with the first leg taking place on 25 August and the return fixture on the morning of 1 September - the day the European transfer window closes.

Liverpool have plenty of potential targets on their midfield shortlist as they seek to get a deal over the line before the window closes.

An enquiry has been made about Manchester City's Kalvin Phillips, while Bayern Munich's Ryan Gravenberch remains a target.
