To the surprise of very few, the Europa League group stage has so far been a procession for Liverpool.

While you might question their Premier League title credentials, there's no doubting that the Reds will be a major player in this competition once we enter the knockout phase. Liverpool need just a point to qualify for the next stage on Thursday evening away at Toulouse with two matchdays remaining.

Jurgen Klopp has rotated to great effect in this competition so far, offering chances to youngsters and fringe squad members. Here's how the German could set his side up on Thursday evening in France.

GK: Caoimhín Kelleher - Kelleher is the designated goalkeeper for this competition, although Alisson started Liverpool's victory over Union Saint-Gilloise while the Irishman was unavailable.

RB: Joe Gomez - Gomez looked a little awkward at left-back on Sunday, so he should return to his more familiar flank on Thursday with Trent Alexander-Arnold unlikely to be risked.

CB: Joel Matip - Klopp will likely rest his two starting centre-backs which should see Matip come back into the side.

CB: Jarell Quansah - The young defender has consistently impressed at a senior level, and he deserves another opportunity to shine in Toulouse.

LB: Kostas Tsimikas - The Greek international produced a rather chaotic cameo at Kenilworth Road, but Liverpool's dynamics are improved in possession with Tsimikas in the side.

DM: Wataru Endo - Klopp has favoured Alexis Mac Allister in the #6 role for Liverpool's Premier League outings so far while Endo has been limited to minutes in cup competitions.

CM: Curtis Jones - A knock kept Jones out of action at the weekend, but he's expected to be fit for Thursday's Europa League clash.

CM: Harvey Elliott - The creative midfielder has been superb off the bench this season, but Dominik Szoboszlai's fast start to his Liverpool career means Premier League starts are hard to come by.

RW: Darwin Nunez - We enjoyed some vintage Darwin on Sunday with the Uruguayan producing a majestically inefficient display. Mohamed Salah started the reverse fixture, but Klopp could experiment with the direct forward down the right.

ST: Cody Gakpo - The Dutchman has been eased back in since returning from a knee injury but is a sure bet to start on Thursday.

LW: Luis Diaz - The heroic Colombian returned to action for the first time since the kidnapping of his parents on Sunday and saved the day for the Reds. He may well be ready for a start in midweek.
