Liverpool have confirmed that full-back Owen Beck has rejoined Dundee on loan for the rest of the 2023/24 season.

Beck had already spent the first half of the campaign at the Scottish Premiership club, making 20 appearances in all competitions.

Having been recalled from the initial loan spell on 1 January due to Liverpool's injury crisis at left-back - both Andrew Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas had been sidelined due to arm ailments - Beck made his Premier League debut for the Reds in a recent win over Bournemouth.

However, with Robertson returning to action on Sunday during Liverpool's thumping 5-2 FA Cup win over Norwich City, Beck has now once again been sent back out on loan to Dundee.

Speaking to Dundee's official website after the move was confirmed, the youngster expressed his delight at rejoining the Scottish club.

"I am made up to be back, after the first half of the season that we both had together," he said.

"I now just can't wait to get back out there and perform in front of the fans again. I am over the moon to be back. I just want to thank the Dundee fans for their support in the first half of the season, even when you found out I got recalled you were fantastic with me, but I am back again, so let's get to work again."

Dundee manager Tony Docherty was similarly thrilled with acquisition.

"I am absolutely delighted that Owen is back with us," he commented. "It came to our attention on Sunday after the Liverpool game when Andy Robertson came on and with Tsimikas returning from injury there might be a possibility that Owen might return to us. He's made such a positive impact in the first half of the season both on and off the pitch.

"When we got confirmation from Liverpool yesterday that he could come back to Dundee everyone at the club was so excited, the coaches, the players, and all the other staff at the club."
