FROM LONDON STADIUM - Jurgen Klopp's side clawed their way back from being a goal down inside 10 minutes to earn the win at London Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Liverpool quickly went behind in the game thanks to a decent strike from Lucas Paqueta and some not-so-decent goalkeeping from Alisson Becker.

Just a few minutes later however, the Reds found a way back into the game via a brilliant long-range effort from January signing Cody Gakpo.

After a scare of an offside goal at the start of the second half, the Reds stamped their authority on proceedings in the 66th minute with a thunderous headed goal from Joel Matip.

Here's Liverpool's best and worst players from the win over West Ham according 90min's player ratings.

Liverpool's best player vs West Ham

Cody Gakpo - 8/10

The January signing has very much settled into life as Jurgen Klopp's 'new Roberto Firmino'.

Gakpo was constantly dropping into the number 10 position throughout the game at London Stadium, and was able to build seemingly every good bit of Liverpool attacking play from that area of the park.

His passing and decision-making were on point throughout and, top it all off, he scored a bloody beautiful long-range goal to silence the West Ham faithful and bring Liverpool back into the game in the first half.

Liverpool's worst player vs West Ham

Fabinho - 4/10

In the first half in particular, Fabinho seemed to have an innate ability to pick the wrong pass when on the ball in the final third.

Things picked up a little bit in the second half for the Brazilian as he did work hard defensively, but in general he was outclassed in the middle of the park by Declan Rice on Wednesday night.
