A Leicester City side regaining their swagger host Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime.

Brendan Rodgers has steered the Foxes to ten points from a possible 15 in October, hauling his team out of the relegation zone. Leicester's run of form culminated in a 4-0 victory against Wolves last weekend which the manager described as "very, very good".

By their own lofty standards, Pep Guardiola's side is enduring a sticky patch after recording one win from their previous four matches. However, the Sky Blues have secured top spot in their Champions League group and can also reach the summit of the Premier League with a win on Saturday.

Here's everything you need to know about the meeting between these two cities.

Leicester team news

Wilfred Ndidi has returned to training ahead of Manchester City's visit but may not be tossed straight back into the XI considering an overly swift reintegration aggravated his hamstring injury in the first place.

Rodgers was also optimistic about Jonny Evans' availability but both fullbacks Ryan Bertrand (knee) and Ricardo Pereira (Achilles) remain long-term absentees.

Man City team news

Erling Haaland and Joao Cancelo were removed at half-time of City's goalless stalemate against Borussia Dortmund. Guardiola later revealed that both had been suffering from a fever. Haaland was also "so tired" and carrying "a knock on his foot" according to the Catalan coach.

Although the damage to Haaland's foot isn't thought to be serious, Guardiola may line up without the Norwegian in the Premier League for the first time this season.

Kalvin Phillips (shoulder) and Kyle Walker (groin) are continuing their recoveries in a bid to be available for England before next month's World Cup.

Man City predicted lineup vs Leicester

Man City Starting 11 (4-3-3): Ederson; Akanji, Dias, Laporte, Gomez; De Bruyne, Rodri, Bernardo; Foden, Alvarez, Grealish.
Bench: Ortega, Stones, Ake, Gundogan, Mahrez, Palmer, Lewis, Haaland, Cancelo.

Leicester vs Man City score prediction

Leicester have kept four clean sheets in their last five matches. Manchester City have failed to score in three of their last four outings. Danny Ward, however, may not be in for an easy afternoon.

During their parsimonious streak, Leicester have conceded a whopping 53 shots. Manchester City's goal-shy glut has been hindered by early red cards, missed penalties, and no burning necessity to defeat Borussia Dortmund to achieve Champions League qualification in midweek.

Yet, with the carrot of the Premier League's top spot to chase, Guardiola's side may well rediscover their scoring touch this weekend.

Prediction: Leicester 0-2 Man City
