La Liga president Javier Tebas believes the odds of Real Madrid signing Kylian Mbappe are rising with each passing day and has backed the Spanish giants to complete more transfers this summer.

Mbappe is once again in the last six months of his contract and Madrid are working to try and secure the biggest free transfer in history, although an exit would not leave current club Paris Saint-Germain out of pocket due to an agreement between Mbappe and club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

Tebas believed Madrid had a 50% chance of signing Mbappe when asked in January but, speaking to Fabrizio Romano, he insisted the odds have risen since then.

"I said it was around 50% some weeks ago, now is even more," he said, claiming the figure is closer to 55% or 60% now. "Every day that passes and Mbappe does not sign the new contract with PSG, the percentage increases."

Despite the obvious enormity of both Mbappe's wages and any signing-on bonus, Tebas believes Madrid's finances are strong enough to bring more signings as well. Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies is on the radar, while reports have named Lille centre-back Leny Yoro and even Manchester City striker Erling Haaland as potential targets.

"Alphonso Davies and more? I don’t know the costs of Mbappe deal but in any case, Real have an excellent financial situation," he said. "They never did crazy things in the recent years."

Despite having several targets for the summer, Madrid's current focus remains on Mbappe, who is yet to confirm his decision to Al Khelaifi.

"When we have both decided, we will tell you," the PSG president said of his discussions with Mbappe.

While PSG hope to keep Mbappe, they are already looking at potential replacements for the Frenchman, who has agreed to give up close to €80m in loyalty bonuses from his current employers in the event he leaves this summer.

90min understands Manchester United's Marcus Rashford and Napoli's Victor Osimhen are both on PSG's shortlist if they find themselves needing attacking reinforcements this summer.
