Paris Saint-Germain are yet to receive notice from Kylian Mbappe that he will leave this summer but have a shortlist of replacements in case he departs, 90min understands.

Real Madrid are pushing to sign Mbappe, who is out of contract at the end of the season. But as of yet nothing has been 100% agreed, while the forward has pledged to tell PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi first once he has made a decision on his future.

There is also the possibility of Mbappe heading into the summer as a free agent and deciding on his future after playing with France at Euro 2024 and their home Olympics - a desire he is keen to fulfil and has made clear to both Madrid and PSG. The latter have already given him the green light to do so if he renews his contract.

Mbappe's deal expires at the end of the season, having opted out of a one-year extension last summer. Even though it means PSG face losing Mbappe on a free, he has given up between €70m and €80m in loyalty bonuses and other variables as part of a complex agreement with PSG that means they are financially covered should he depart.

Sources have told 90min this sum will prove useful in funding a replacement for Mbappe in that event.

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is of interest and is a historical target for PSG. Al-Khelaifi held talks with Rashford's camp over a potential move back in 2022 and also early last summer, though the French champions believed they were being used as leverage in contract negotiations with the Red Devils.

Rashford is the sort of profile PSG are seeking and they could yet make another play to sign him this summer if a window of opportunity opens up, though only if they first have assurances from the player he genuinely wants to join.

Though there have been suggestions Rashford could force an exit from United following a tumultuous 2023/24 season so far, there is no concrete indication he indeed wants to leave Old Trafford as it stands. However, with INEOS incoming and assuming sporting control, and manager Erik ten Hag's position likely to be reviewed this summer, there are still a lot of moving parts that could change Rashford's perspective.

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, who recently signed a new contract to 2026 containing a release clause in excess of €100m, is also on PSG's radar. He has previous experience in Ligue 1 with Lille, but the belief within PSG that Osimhen will instead head to the Premier League this summer.

PSG are also long-term admirers of RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, who is considered a more realistic target. The 20-year-old's contract contains a €50m release clause which becomes active in the summer and there is an expectation he will leave Leipzig in 2024.
