Juventus secured top spot in their Champions League group on Wednesday with an impressive 3-0 away win over a poor Barcelona. Cristiano Ronaldo made sure Juventus went through as winners with two penalties, with Weston McKennie also scoring to continue his impressive start wearing the famous black and white.

With the Champions League put aside until February, the defending Serie A champions can now refocus on their floundering title defence. Although still unbeaten, the Old Lady haven't shifted into top gear in the league, winning just five of their ten games this season.

This weekend's away fixture to lowly Genoa in Serie A should see a wholly different challenge than the Catalan side (didn't) present. Juve are hot favourites, but there may be some rotation in their squad before the big midweek game against Atalanta on Wednesday evening.

Here, 90min takes a look at the starting XI that Andrea Pirlo is likely to start with against Genoa.

1. Goalkeepers & Defenders

Wojciech Szczesny (GK) - Gianluigi Buffon started at Camp Nou and saved all seven shots on target (all from Lionel Messi!) but he picked up a calf injury in the match and – let's be honest – is a long way from being the club's league keeper.

Matthijs de Ligt (CB) - The €85m signing is the future of Juventus' defence. He came back from a shoulder injury just under a month ago, and has started to show promise of late.

Leonardo Bonucci (CB) - Last weekend's hero, scoring the late winning header against city rivals Torino. Will sit in the middle of the back three.

Danilo (CB) - The former Manchester City player has become an integral part of Juve's back three, starting nine out of ten Serie A games this season. Expect him to make his tenth in this game.

2. Midfielders

Juan Cuadrado (RM) - One of Juventus' most important players this season, outshining many of his teammates. Has three assists in his last two games. Nailed on starter.

Rodrigo Bentancur (CM) - Given a rest against Barcelona, but made a brief appearance after the game was put to bed. Expected to return to his central role in the heart of Juventus' midfield.

Adrien Rabiot (CM) - Still only 25 years old, the Frenchman has focused on his football after the transfer buzz in the summer. Likely to start but will feel under pressure from Weston McKennie after the American's impressive performances of late.

Federico Chiesa (LM) - Returning to his hometown, the young Italian has had an up and down start to his Juve career, but has still managed to provide four assists in five league games. Needs a big performance.

Dejan Kulusevski (AM) - The versatile Swede is still looking to cement his place in the team. With Cuadrado controlling the right flank, Pirlo looks to experiment placing the promising talent behind the forwards.

3. Forwards

Alvaro Morata (ST) - Provided a huge boost to i Bianconeri when his two-game ban was reduced to just one, and will be looking to get his tenth goal of the season. His hold up play and intelligent movements help his strike partner find the space he needs to perform his magic.

Cristiano Ronaldo (ST) - In fine form after netting two goals (albeit both penalties) at Camp Nou to restart the whole GOAT debate (erm, ish). Has only failed to score on two occasions this season. Watch out Genoa.
