Juventus booked their place in the Coppa Italia final on Tuesday night, holding Inter to 0-0 Derby d'Italia draw that saw them progress 2-1 on aggregate.

Despite not witnessing any goals, the first half was an intense affair with both sides forced into some last-ditch defending.

After the break, things continued in much the same vein, until Cristiano Ronaldo missed a big chance after the hour mark, firing straight at Samir Handanovic in a one-on-one. After this tensions rose with players from both teams getting carded and Inter subjected their hosts to a late barrage. In the end though, the Old Lady had just enough to hold on.

Juventus will meet either Napoli or Atalanta in the final, depending on how the second leg of their tie goes. The scores are currently level at 0-0.

Here are your player ratings for the two sides...

JUVENTUS

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Gianluigi Buffon (GK) - 7/10 - Not a huge amount to do. Looked sharp when called into account though - especially for a 42-year-old.

Danilo (RB) - 7/10 -
Helped his side keep possession with a shedload of safe passes. A well-rounded defensive display as well.

Matthijs de Ligt (CB) - 8/10 -
Composed in possession, even with Martinez pressing him. Read things expertly, racking up three interceptions.

Merih Demiral (CB) - 7/10 -
Should have been punished for missing a first header by Lukaku. Other than that, he was impressive, making a number of key blocks.

Alex Sandro (LB) - 6/10 -
Hakimi got the better of him on several occasions and he was forced to take a yellow card midway through the first half.

2. Midfielders

Juan Cuadrado (RM) - 7/10 - A tenacious display. He carried the ball well, completing five of his six dribbles.

Rodrigo Bentancur (CM) - 7/10 -
A classy player. Passed the ball well, particularly when he opted to go long.

Adrien Rabiot (CM) - 7/10 -
A steady display. He was tidy in possession and also got through a fair amount of defensive work.

Federico Bernardeschi (LM) - 6/10 -
Nothing too spectacular but he did carve out a few half chances for his side.

3. Forwards

Dejan Kulusevski (ST) - 6/10 - Pretty isolated early on but still managed two key passes in the opening 45 minutes.

Cristiano Ronaldo (ST) - 5/10 - Missed a huge chance just after the hour mark and spurned another good opportunity soon after.

4. Substitutes

Weston McKennie - 6/10 - Helped his team see out the draw in the closing stages. Showed incredible energy.

Giorgio Chiellini - 6/10 - As above but with slightly less energy.

Federico Chiesa - N/A

INTER

5. Goalkeeper & defenders

Samir Handanovic (GK) - 8/10 - Saved well from Ronaldo in the second half to keep his side in the game.

Milan Skriniar (CB) - 7/10 - Drove forward when he could and defended pretty stoically.

Stefan de Vrij (CB) - 7/10 - Let nothing past him for the first hour or so. A few gaps appeared after that, but nothing too disastrous.

Alessandro Bastoni (CB) - 6/10 - Made several excellent blocks, including one in the first half to deny Ronaldo a near certain goal. However, he got his line all wrong in the second half and should have been punished.

6. Wing-backs & midfielders

Achraf Hakimi (RWB) - 8/10 - A real menace. Had the beating of his opposite number all evening and curled one just over the bar early in the second half.

Marcelo Brozovic (CM) - 7/10 -
Destructive in midfield for his side, completing three tackles and three interceptions.

Nicolo Barella (CM) - 6/10 -
Not quite his usual, imperious self but still had some bright moments.

Matteo Darmian (LWB) - 6/10 -
Heavily involved early on, pushing forward like a striker at times and getting booked for a soft foul of Ronaldo. Scuffed a shot early on in the second half and was subbed soon after.

Christian Eriksen (AM) - 7/10 -
Set-piece delivery was great. Also created a few opportunities from open play and can count himself unlucky to have been substituted.

7. Forwards

Lautaro Martinez (ST) - 5/10 - Slashed at two shots in the first half. They were good chances as well. Worked hard but little broke for him after that.

Romelu Lukaku (ST) - 5/10 -
Fluffed his lines with a big chance on the half-hour mark. A few more missteps followed afterwards as well.

8. Substitutes

Ivan Perisic - 6/10 - Was cautioned not long after coming on. One of his only contributions of note.

Stefano Sensi - 6/10 - Did okay.

Alexander Kolarov - 5/10 - A strange substitution. He offered little.
