Jordi Alba has entered his name into the FC Barcelona history books after making his 421st appearance for the club against Levante, matching Guillermo Amor's record in the process.
Alba joined current teammates Gerard Pique and Sergio Busquets, as well as former colleague Lionel Messi, in the top 10 list of players who have featured in the most games for La Blaugrana.
The left-back toasted the occasion by providing the assist for Luuk de Jong's late winner in Barcelona's 3-2 victory on Sunday night.
After being released by Barcelona as a youngster, Alba returned to the club in 2012 and has been a pivotal player for the Catalan giants.
The technically-gifted Spaniard has featured under managers Tito Vilanova, Tata Martino, Luis Enrique, Ernesto Valverde, Quique Setien, Ronald Koeman and now Xavi. Trophies have been forthcoming too, with Alba lifting five La Liga titles, a Champions League and five Copa del Reys.
In the 421 games he has played at FC Barcelona, he has been part of the team as they won 286, drew 76 and lost 59 games.
