Inter Miami boss Gerardo 'Tata' Martino will more than likely have no choice but to pick a similar starting lineup to the one that drew against NYCFC when his side squares off with Monterrey in the Champions Cup quarterfinals.

The south Florida side have been hit with a bit of an injury bug, as not only superstar Lionel Messi has missed recent games with a hamstring injury but the likes of Nicolas Freire, Serhiy Kryvstov and Federico Redondo have all been on the treatment table and missed action. Martino's lineup last time out against NYCFC saw Ryan Sailor make a rare start while Sergio Busquets was tasked with anchoring the heart of the Herons' defense.

Martino confirmed that Messi is edging ever closer to a return for the midweek clash against the Mexican giants, but his status will more than likely be a game-time decision. Martino just might have to put a makeshift XI out on the pitch like he did against NYC Saturday night.

Here's how the Herons could lineup for their midweek clash in the Champions Cup.
