Lionel Messi brings unmatched fanfare wherever he travels. That will be no different when the World Cup winner tours China this November with his Inter Miami teammates.

Inter Miami missed out on the MLS play-offs following a defeat to Cincinnati in early October and the club now face a four-month wait until next season begins in early 2024.

However, David Beckham's Major League Soccer franchise are using their off-season to broaden their global reach, with Inter Miami announcing their tour of China next month. Undoubtedly, thousands will be desperate to get their hands on tickets to see Messi play when he travels to far-east Asia.

Here is all the ticket information you need to know ahead of Inter Miami and Messi's China tour in November.

Inter Miami's tour of China will begin in early November and will include two games against Chinese Super League opposition in preparation for next season's MLS campaign.

Messi will take on Qingdao Hainiu, who are currently struggling in the CSL, in Qingdao on November 5. The match will take place at the newly-built Qingdao Youth Football Stadium in front of a 50,000-capacity crowd, all of whom will be desperate to feast their eyes on the former Barcelona trio of Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.

Qingdao Hainiu are currently led by a Spaniard themselves with Antonio Carreno, formerly a scout at Albacete and Sporting Gijon, having been appointed in February 2023.

Messi and Co. will then face a trip to Sichuan to face Chengdu Rongcheng at the 60,000-capacity Phoenix Hill Football Stadium on November 8. Chengdu Rongcheng, similarly to Inter Miami, were only formed in 2018, but finished fifth during their first campaign in the CSL last season.

Inter Miami are travelling to China as part of their pre-season preparations ahead of next year's MLS campaign, but there are also financial motivations for their trip to Asia.

Chief business officer Xavier Asensi stated: "We’re very excited to continue to expand our club’s global reach, bringing our team to play in front of incredible fans across the globe.

"This is a special opportunity to share the passion as we reach new audiences and put ourselves on display in new places, and we’re looking forward to beginning this adventure."
