Greece vs Spain head-to-head record

These two sides have met 11 times previously with Greece tasting victory just once. That came back in 2003 in qualification for Euro 2004, which they would famously go on to win.

The pair faced off at that tournament too, playing out a feisty 1-1 draw in the group stages.

For the most part though, Spain have dominated, winning seven of the previous 11 matches in total. Saying that, the pair did draw back in March 2021 in the reverse fixture.

Greece vs Spain prediction

Spain will have learned their lesson from their last game against Greece when some poor finishing and a defensive lapse saw them drop two points.

This time around the stakes are high and we expect La Furia Roja to build on their impressive showing in the Nations League Finals and get the job done here.

Even with their lengthy injury list, Spain have more than enough attacking talent to cause Greece serious problems and the visitors will eventually break down the Greek defence's typically-stubborn resistance.

Prediction: Greece 0-2 Spain
