Gareth Taylor isn't letting Manchester City's 2-0 victory over Chelsea in the WSL go to his head, with the manager claiming that there are 'lots of challenges left' for his team to overcome.

Man City's win over Chelsea takes them back to second in the league behind Manchester United on goal difference, and despite Taylor admitting that his emotions are running 'high' after the crucial victory, he wants his side to remain focused.

"We've not done anything yet - six games left, lots of challenges left - but we go into it with high levels of confidence.

"To get to a position where we are after losing those two games at the start of the season, it's remarkable. The players need to take credit for that. We're a new-ish team. To be in this position now is top.

"I always look at Chelsea as the benchmark. It's a big step [to beat them], particularly where we are in the season and how tight it is at the top. It brings big confidence."

Man City will hope to build upon this win when they take on Arsenal next in the WSL next Sunday at Meadow Park. Arsenal are right in the thick of the title race too, ditting in fourth but trailing league leaders Man Utd back just three points.
