Fulham are close to agreeing a deal with Paris Saint-Germain for defender Layvin Kurzawa, while talks are progressing for forward targets Neal Maupay and Justin Kluivert, 90min understands.

Marco Silva bemoaned prior to the start of the 2022/23 season that the squad was not up to scratch and they were not ready for the campaign to begin. However, the Whites have performed admirably on their return to the Premier League thus far, earning valuable draws with Liverpool and Wolves before beating rivals Brentford in stoppage time.

Nevertheless, Silva has been keen on bringing in further squad reinforcements and he could get his wish as the summer transfer window comes to a close.

90min understands Fulham have agreed personal terms with left-back Kurzawa, who looks set to finally play in the Premier League after nearly joining Arsenal in January 2020. He has failed to play more than 20 league games in each of his six seasons at PSG and talks are ongoing with the French champions over the structure of a deal.

Elsewhere, Fulham are hopeful of bringing in striker Neal Maupay from Brighton for around £15m. The Frenchman has been the subject of interest from fellow promoted side Nottingham Forest and Serie A outfit Salernitana this summer.

A deal to bring in Netherlands international Kluivert on loan from Roma is also being worked on, with Rodrigo Muniz's recent loan to Middlesbrough allowing Fulham the flexibility to push ahead with moves for other attackers.
