Fresh images of Manchester United's 2020/21 home strip have emerged online, with the final design differing from previous leaks.

It comes after the Red Devils' opinion-splitting 'legacy green' away kit were leaked ahead of its official unveiling in June.

However, the clean home strip appears to be a winner, with fans relieved the design of the 'official' shirt has drifted away from the initial blueprints which appeared in March.

It seemed the design was confirmed when the official Barcelona YouTube channel mistakenly uploaded a video featuring the leaked kit during a match on Pro Evolution Soccer 2020. However, it seems that's not the case.

While that design was blasted by fans for its 'bus seat' feel as a result of the prominent pattern of black and yellow vertical dashes down the front of the shirt, the subtle horizontal accents which appear on the final design have gone down a treat.

The adidas United 2020/21 home shirt - leaked by the trusty Footy Headlines - is, of course, predominantly red with white logos. The three trademark stripes, placed on the shoulders of the shirt, are also white, while the club's Chevrolet shirt sponsor dominates the centre.

White shorts and socks will accompany the shirt, although it wouldn't be surprising to see the club use black socks as well. Black shorts and socks have predominantly been used when United have donned the home kit this season.

It remains to be seen, however, when adidas will officially announce the new kits given the current uncertainty over the remainder of the Premier League season. Although, it's rumoured United's home strip for next season is set for a July release.

Last year, the new strip was unveiled on 16 May but there is unlikely to be any confirmation until the situation regarding the current campaign is resolved.
