France predicted lineup vs Republic of Ireland - Euro 2024 qualifier
By Tom Gott
France will seek a second straight victory when they travel to face the Republic of Ireland on Monday.
Didier Deschamps' side thumped the Netherlands 4-0 last time out and will fancy themselves to pick up a similar victory in this one.
Here's how the boss could set up.
France predicted lineup vs Ireland (4-2-3-1)
GK: Mike Maignan - A clean sheet against the Dutch was the perfect start to the Maignan era.
RB: Benjamin Pavard - Having sat out the first game of the break, Pavard will be keen to see some minutes here.
CB: Ibrahima Konate - Don't expect Konate to finish this game, with Axel Disasi and Jean-Clair Todibo waiting in the wings.
CB: Dayot Upamecano - Deschamps may view this game as another chance to rebuild the relationship Konate and Upamecano had during their Leipzig days.
LB: Theo Hernandez - The only natural left-back in the squad, Theo looks to be in for another 90-minute haul.
DM: Aurelien Tchouameni - The anchor in France's midfield, Tchouameni should have no issue playing more minutes here.
DM: Eduardo Camavinga - The perpetual substitute should get a chance to start here and prove himself.

RM: Kingsley Coman - Moussa Diaby is determined to take this spot away from Coman but he may have to wait a little longer.
AM: Antoine Griezmann - Griezmann is so crucial to this side and will be tasked with inspiring an early lead, which would allow him to take a rest late on.
LM: Kylian Mbappe - Le capitaine.
ST: Randal Kolo Muani - Olivier Giroud's time as a starter looks to be fading due to the emergence of Kolo Muani as one of Europe's most lethal strikers.
