The scope of options in midfield in the 2022/23 Fantasy Premier League has arguably been larger than any previous season.

With so many stars delivering goals and assists throughout the campaign, FPL managers are scratching their heads over their selections for the final few weeks.

Here are the midfielders to consider for Gameweek 34.

Marcus Rashford (£7.1m)

Manchester United let themselves down in the 2-2 draw with Tottenham, throwing away a two-goal lead Marcus Rashford had helped establish with a thumping finish.

The England international might have scored a few more on another day and will hope to fill his boots in upcoming clashes with Aston Villa and Brighton, both of whom are eyeing up European qualification.

Rashford is behind only Gabriel Martinelli, Mohamed Salah and Bukayo Saka for points scored in FPL this season and is stlll a moderately priced £7.1m.

Lucas Paqueta (£5.9m)

West Ham look to have sorted themselves out in the nick of time to move clear of the relegation zone.

Summer signing Lucas Paqueta has found his groove in the Hammers' last three games, contributing two goals and an assist. The clash with Crystal Palace could yield a healthy return, though the second match in West Ham's double gameweek is a trip to Manchester City.

Jacob Murphy (£4.1m)

Injuries elsewhere in Newcastle's squad have helped Jacob Murphy nail down a starting spot under Eddie Howe. The last few games have seen the winger scoop three goals and 19 points in total.

The Magpies have Southampton and Leeds sandwiched by Arsenal in their next three games, so there should be more scoring points on offer for Murphy, priced at only £4.1m.

Mohamed Salah (£13m)

Mohamed Salah comes up against one of his favourites opponents on Sunday when Liverpool host Tottenham at Anfield.

The Egypt international has struck ten times against Spurs in his career, only hitting the back of the net more often against Manchester United and Manchester City.

Another home game with Fulham comes up later in Gameweek 34. Salah scored and assisted in a 2-2 draw with the Cottagers on the opening weekend of the season.
