Manchester City players are quickly rising in FPL stock with key players returning from injury ahead of a favourable run of games.

Kevin De Bruyne is starting matches again, while Erling Haaland made his return from a foot problem in the 3-1 midweek win over Burnley as a substitute. The treble winners face Brentford in FPL Gameweek 23 and notably have a Double Gameweek 25 in their schedule.

So who are the best buys? With the help of Fantasy Football Hub's powerful AI Points Predictions tool, here are the top City assets to target in FPL Gameweek 23.

Erling Haaland

  • Predicted Points: 5.2

Erling Haaland returned to Manchester City’s squad against Burnley in midweek, managing 19 minutes from the bench. He should now be the priority Manchester City transfer in given his pedigree as the best goalscorer in the Premier League.

Trusting him with the captain's armband this week does come with its risks as there's no guarantee he will start against Brentford, but City do have five full days to recover ahead of this Monday night fixture.

Kevin De Bruyne

  • Predicted Points: 5.1

It was encouraging to see Kevin De Bruyne get his first start on his return in the 3-1 win against Burnley and he now has three attacking returns in two Premier League games since coming back into the Man City squad.

His minutes have been carefully managed and that will likely continue over the next month or so, but the Belgian demonstrated against Newcastle United in Gameweek 21 that he can provide from the bench. Affording him alongside Haaland could reap huge fantasy returns.

Phil Foden

  • Predicted Points: 4.3

Phil Foden has been a key fantasy asset over the last five gameweeks, with one goal and four assists in this time. However, the reintroduction of De Bruyne and Haaland has altered Foden's role in this City attack, moving him onto the wing.

He's easier to afford than De Bruyne alongside Haaland in our squads and, having started the last ten Premier League games, expect him to still play a major part. Confidence is key with Foden and he's taken 18 shots and made 14 key passes in the last four gameweeks.
