Sunday will see Everton butt heads with Chelsea in a match which could go a long way to deciding things at both ends of the Premier League table.

Chelsea aren't mathematically guaranteed a spot in the top four just yet, but they're eight points clear of fifth-placed Tottenham and they'll feel as though they should be more, having been held to a frustrating 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Thursday.

Former Blues boss Frank Lampard used to be focused on top-four battles but is now dealing with a relegation fight. Everton are 18th but still have the game in hand needed to escape from the drop zone, and the Toffees will be keeping a very close eye on Burnley's meeting with Watford - 17th vs 19th - on Saturday afternoon.

Here's all you need to know about this one.

Everton team news

Lampard has described Dominic Calvert-Lewin's return from a quad injury here as 'possible', but it's hard to imagine the striker starting after such a lengthy battle with various fitness issues.

A quad issue has also sidelined Ben Godfrey, who pulled out of the warm-up ahead of the Merseyside derby and was sent for scans to determine whether or not he will be able to feature here. Currently, that's not clear.

Donny van de Beek has a groin problem, while Andros Townsend, Nathan Patterson and Tom Davies remain out.

Chelsea team news

Ben Chilwell, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Mateo Kovacic remain out, while checks will have to be made on ill duo Andreas Christensen and Ross Barkley after the pair missed out against United.

Christensen was thought to be close to making it back for the United game, so the extra rest may mean he's ready to go here.

Everton vs Chelsea score prediction

Everton did supremely well to keep Liverpool at bay for the majority of the derby last time out, and if they can match that effort, they'll make things very tough for a Chelsea side whose efficiency in front of goal is woeful.

Lampard's men are tricky customers at Goodison, but Chelsea are still Chelsea. When they figure out how to get the ball in the back of the net, they can be incredibly tough to stop. They blew United away and could have been four or five ahead if they'd have worked how to actually beat David de Gea.

Chelsea will fancy their chances of keeping a clean sheet, and at the other end, they should have enough about them to break down Everton's shield eventually.

Prediction: Everton 0-1 Chelsea
