Erling Haaland limped out of Norway training on Tuesday, leaving Manchester City fans sweating ahead of their mammoth clash with Arsenal after the international break.

The striker, who missed ten games earlier this season through injury, has been integral to City's hopes of retaining the Premier League title, netting a division-high 18 goals in 23 games before jetting off for March's international break.

Haaland's time with the national team got off to the worst possible start as he was spotted limping out of training on Tuesday after slumping to the ground.

The sight of Haaland in pain will be a major concern to City, who have a huge game against Arsenal to look forward to on March 31.

Fortunately for City fans, Norway team doctor Ola Sand did his best to play down any concerns about Haaland's latest scare.

"No problem," Sand told TV2.

After City's FA Cup quarter-final victory over Newcastle United, manager Pep Guardiola urged his players to protect themselves on international duty ahead of the big game against Arsenal.

"[Haaland] is not my player anymore from now on, what [all the players] will decide will be fine," he said. "They know that they fought a lot and train a lot, a lot of adrenaline and concentration to arrive in this position.

"They know they are friendly games and they have to handle it wisely. Hopefully they can do it."
