Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has insisted he has no intention of selling Marcus Rashford to Paris Saint-Germain.

Rashford was United's star performer during Ten Hag's first year in charge at Old Trafford, scoring a remarkable 30 goals in 56 matches across all competitions for the 2022/23 season.

The England forward was rewarded for this form with a bumper new contract making him one of the Premier League's highest earners and running until 2028. However, his performances have noticeably dipped this term, scoring only seven times in 34 appearances, though he does have two in his last two.

90min revealed last month that Rashford was on PSG's initial three-man shortlist of stars they are looking to replace the departing Kylian Mbappe with. Napoli's Victor Osimhen and RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko are the other names, while AC Milan's Rafael Leao has since also worked his way into PSG's thinking.

Fresh reports this week have linked Rashford with a move to Parc des Princes, but in his press conference ahead of Sunday's FA Cup sixth-round tie with Liverpool, Ten Hag shut this talk down.

"We did not sign him last season for five years with the intention to sell him now," Ten Hag said. "He should be part of this project. So it is not a subject we don't talk about."

90min understands Rashford and his camp met with PSG club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi in 2022 and 2023 to discuss a potential move, though nothing ever materialised and the French champions believed he was using them as leverage in contract talks with United.
