England play their final match of a memorable 2022 on Tuesday evening, as they face Norway at the Pinatar Arena in Spain.
Should they avoid defeat, the Lionesses will have successfully gone the entirety of 2022 without losing a game.
England face a Norway side who they last met in a memorable encounter in the Euro 2022 group stages, registering a record-breaking 8-0 victory. Norway have changed coaches since their disappointing group stage exit at the Euros, with Martin Sjogren replaced with Hege Riise. Riise had a brief interim spell in charge of England in 2021 and led Team GB at the Tokyo Olympics, ruffling a few feathers with her squad selection.

England team news
England will be without Beth Mead, who withdrew from the squad on Saturday due to family circumstances. Lucy Bronze is also absent for the Lionesses having returned to Barcelona as a precaution following a minor injury, while Lotte Wubben-Moy has been ruled out too.
Leah Williamson, Lauren Hemp and Fran Kirby continue to miss out - the former was not selected for the November camp due to injury, while the latter two withdrew due to injury and illness.

With Bronze and Mead withdrawing from the squad, England are now without 10 members of their Euro 2022 winning squad for Tuesday's fixture. However they showed the Lionesses showed their strength in depth on Friday evening, as they emphatically dispatched of Japan, despite a wealth of key absentees.
Norway will present a different test, and will likely not role over in such desperate fashion as they did four months earlier in Brighton. They got the better of the Netherlands in October and were narrowly beaten by France last time out, demonstrating their ability to compete with Europe's top sides, but are a team England should still be coming out on top against.
