Real Madrid pulled level on points with neighbourhood rivals Atletico at the top of La Liga after beating Eibar 3-1.

Los Blancos have gradually been getting into their stride after a slow start to the season, and they were quick out of the blocks against a side who had conceded just ten goals in their opening 13 La Liga games.

Unsurprisingly, it was Karim Benzema who got things rolling, as he collected Rodrygo's delicious dinked ball over the top to open the scoring after six minutes. The Frenchman then turned provider less than ten minutes later, as he superbly got to the byline before cutting back for Luka Modric to fire into the roof of the net.

Real were pegged back by Kike's sensational curling effort, but Lucas Vazquez's late goal - again set up by Benzema - ensured they draw level with Atletico on points, although Diego Simeone's side do have two games in hand.

Here's 90min's ratings for Zinedine Zidane's side.

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Thibaut Courtois (GK) - 6/10 - A couple of saves made and overall dominant in the air. A good day at the office for the Belgian.

Dani Carvajal (RB) - 7/10 - Real are a far better side with Carvajal fit and available - hence why he was recently recognised by 90min as a world class right-back.

Raphael Varane (CB) - 6/10 - Comfortable in possession and assured in the air.

Sergio Ramos (CB) - 6/10 - Not one of Ramos' most influential games, but he shored things up well after Kike's superb strike caught Real cold.

Ferland Mendy (LB) - 7/10 - Shock, horror - Mendy instead of Marcelo and another three points in the bag.

2. Midfielders

Luka Modric (CM) - 8/10 - There's absolutely no way this man is 35 years old, but apparently he is. Still glides around effortlessly, pulls up silky bits of skill and nets wonderful goals.

Casemiro (CM) - 7/10 -
Solid and dependable at the base of midfield, like he always is. A world class performer who is the glue of this side.

Toni Kroos (CM) - 7/10 - Probably the least effective of Real's midfield three, but does he ever give the ball away? No, basically.

3. Forwards

Lucas Vazquez (RW) - 7/10 - A sloppy first touch allowed Eibar to get back into the game, but linked up nicely with Benzema to put the game to bed.

Karim Benzema (ST) - 9/10 - One goal, two assists and another top notch performance from Real's best player.

Rodrygo (LW) - 8/10 - Is more impressive each and every time he pulls on a white jersey. Granted, Eibar aren't going to be his toughest test this season, but you can only beat what's in front of you, right?

4. Substitutes

Fede Valverde (CM) - 6/10

Marco Asensio (LW) - 6/10
