A stunning Mislav Orsic hat-trick saw Dinamo Zagreb stage a remarkable comeback to dump Tottenham out of the Europa League on Thursday evening.

Having looked happy to sit back and soak up the home side's pressure, Spurs received a wake-up call with an hour gone as Orsic unleashed an unstoppable drive into the top corner from all of 20 yards out, reducing Tottenham's aggregate lead to one.

Tottenham continued to labour, and with eight minutes left on the clock, Orsic popped up again to sweep the ball into the top corner from inside the penalty area to force extra time.

Then, early in the second half of the added period, the Croatian winger completed a mazy dribble with a stunning right-footed effort beyond the despairing Hugo Lloris.

The hosts survived a late Spurs onslaught to seal an incredible comeback victory and a place in the quarter-finals. Cue pandemonium at full-time.

That's the match highlights out of the way, now to those all important Spurs player ratings...

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Hugo Lloris (GK) - 5/10 - Nothing he could do about either goal. Maybe could and should have tipped the third around the post. Did brilliantly to essentially deny a fourth late in extra time.

Serge Aurier (RB) - 5/10 - Some sloppy distribution when needlessly trying to force the issue. Did at least show a willingness to get forward considering the rest of his teammates didn't look interested in putting the tie to bed.

Davinson Sanchez (CB) - 5/10 - Produced a number of vital blocks early on, but was among a number of players who should have halted Orsic before his winner.

Eric Dier (CB) - 4/10 - A battling display in which he was dominant in the air, but completely lost his way late on.

Ben Davies (LB) - 5/10 - Steady enough defensively without really threatening to show any attacking intent. Hooked late on.

2. Midfielders

Harry Winks (CM) - 5/10 - Clearly started to grow frustrated with the lack of movement from his teammates as the game wore on. Replaced by Ndombele in the second half.

Moussa Sissoko (CM) - 4/10 - Plenty of running and industry but struggled to get on the ball to influence the game in an attacking sense. Became incredibly sloppy as the game went on.

Dele Alli (AM) - 5/10 - The England man tried his best to make things happen but it just wasn't to be his night. Replaced in the second half.

3. Forwards

Erik Lamela (RW) - 7/10 - Restored to the starting XI after his wondergoal against Arsenal on Sunday. Picked up his scheduled yellow card early on but avoided getting sent off in the shock of the night. Looked lively and was the most likely of the Spurs frontline to make something happen, before he was replaced by Bale on the hour mark.

Harry Kane (ST) - 6/10 - Didn't look as sharp as we've come to expect and squandered a couple of half-chances early on. For once, failed to haul his side to a result.

Lucas Moura (LW) - 6/10 - Asked to fill in on the left in place of the injured Son Heung-min. Pretty ineffective on the night and was shackled for much of the game by the Dinamo Zagreb backline. Replaced by Vinicius.

4. Substitutes

Gareth Bale (RW) - 5/10

Giovani Lo Celso (CM) - 6/10

Tanguy Ndombele (CM) - 5/10

Carlos Vinicius (ST) - 3/10

Sergio Reguilon (LB) - 4/10 - Seemed to forget how to play football.
