Denmark and Finland are both looking to bounce back from heavy opening Euro 2022 defeats when they go head to head this week.

The Danes were convincingly beaten 4-0 by a strong Germany side, while the Fins also conceded four against Spain after initially taking a surprise lead.

Losing here is not an option if either country is to have any realistic chance of causing an upset in the group and progress to the quarter-finals.

Finland team news

While Finnish coach Ann Signeul does not have injury concerns, defender Tujia Hyyrynen has tested positive for Covid-19 and will not be available here. There could also be other defensive reshuffling, with Nora Heroum a potential starter.

Denmark vs Finland score prediction

Despite Finland's early goal against Spain, Denmark are the stronger of these two sides on paper and are the more likely to bounce back from that difficult first match. The quality of Pernille Harder, Signe Bruun and Nadia Nadim up top should be too much for Finland to handle.

Prediction: Denmark 2-1 Finland
