Crystal Palace fought back from 2-0 down to rescue a point against Leicester in the Premier League.

First half goals from Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho put the visitors in the driving seat, but a pair of inspired second half substitutions from Patrick Vieira earned Palace a well deserved point, courtesy of goals from Michael Olise and Jeffrey Schlupp.

Palace had started the contest brightly, testing Kasper Schmeichel numerous times inside the opening quarter of the game as Wilfried Zaha poured forward to great effect.

Leicester appeared to be suffering the effects of their midweek Europa League exploits in Poland, but they were handed a gift on the half-hour mark when Joachim Andersen was caught in possession by Iheanacho in a dangerous area, before the Nigerian raced through to slot under Vicente Guaita.

The hosts had only began to regain their composure when the Foxes added a second. This time, Joel Ward was caught infield before Harvey Barnes released Vardy inside the penalty area. The forward gave Guaita the eyes before cooly reversing his finish into the bottom corner to double the Foxes' advantage.

However, Palace rallied in the second half. Odsonne Edouard struck the bar from the edge of the penalty area before substitute Olise halved the deficit on the hour mark.

Patrick Vieira then sent on Schlupp in place of Conor Gallagher, with the former Fox heading home Palace's equaliser following a scramble inside the Leicester penalty box.

Here's how both teams rated...

Caught too far infield for Vardy's strike and was often out of position.

Andersen's first-half mistake seemed to briefly prove infectious, but he steadied himself after the interval.

Joachim Andersen (CB) - 3/10 -
Gifted Leicester their opener with a lapse in concentration on the ball.

Tyrick Mitchell (LB) - 6/10 -
Held his position well in the backline to allow Zaha to hug the touchline and dealt with Lookman.

2. Midfielders

Kasper Schmeichel (GK) - 5/10 - Made a couple of vital stops early on for Leicester when Palace were piling on the pressure.

Timothy Castagne (RB) - 4/10 - A tough ask being instructed to stifle Zaha, especially with little assistance from Lookman further ahead.

Jannik Vestergaard (CB) - 4/10 - Didn't use his aerial threat to any great effect as Palace floated in crosses.

Caglar Soyuncu (CB) - 5/10 - Looked shaky in the early moments, but he recovered his composure as Leicester took the lead at the other end.

Ryan Bertrand (LB) - 5/10 - Unfortunate that his initial block on Olise's effort ricocheted straight back to the substitute.

6. Midfielders

Youri Tielemans

Ademola Lookman (RM) - 5/10 - Showed a few bright moments in the first half but his influence waned. Caught napping defensively for Olise's goal.

Youri Tielemans (CM) - 6/10 - Fewer touches of the ball than he'd ordinarily like, but played a crucial first time pass in the lead up to Vardy's goal.

Hamza Choudhury (CM) - 5/10 - Wasteful in midfield and was replaced by Soumare as Rodgers looked to shore up defensively.

Harvey Barnes (LM) - 7/10 - A constant threat on the left hand side and timed his pass perfectly to fool Andersen and send Vardy through on goal for Leicester's second.

7. Forwards

Kelechi Iheanacho

Jamie Vardy (ST) - 7/10 - Clinical when his chance arrived in the first half.

Kelechi Iheanacho (ST) - 8/10 -
Showed great determination to dispossess Andersen before he kept his cool to slot past Guaita. His all-round play will have encouraged Rodgers.
