The Continental Cup quarter-final draw has thrown up a London derby between Tottenham and Chelsea, while Arsenal will take on Aston Villa.

The draw took place on TalkSport2 on Tuesday evening, and was conducted by former Crystal Palace and Tottenham goalkeeper Chloe Morgan.

Chelsea and Arsenal both entered the draw, having sat out of the group stages due to their Champions League commitments.

Arsenal, who have won the competition on a record five occasions, will host Aston Villa - a side who have never progressed past the quarter-finals.

Tottenham - beaten semi-finalists last year - will welcome London rivals and back-to-back winners in 2020 and 2021 Chelsea.

The best second placed team - either Manchester City, Liverpool or Leicester will host the winner of Group C - either Brighton or West Ham.

The winner of Group D - either Bristol City, Charlton or Lewes - will host the winner of Group B - either Manchester City, Liverpool or Leicester.

This year's final will take place on Sunday 5 March at Crystal Palace's Selhurst Park. Manchester City are the current defending champions, after coming from a goal down to beat Chelsea 3-1 in an entertaining final at Plough Lane last season.

The remaining group stage ties will take place on 11 and 18 of January to determine the Group D and Group B winner, and best second place team.
