Chelsea continue their dreary trudge towards the end of the season when they visit Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

The minted Blues have not yet secured their Premier League status, having picked up only 39 points so far. Frank Lampard has lost all six games as interim manager and fans can't wait for the season to end.

Here's the side that could be selected at the Vitality Stadium.

GK: Kepa Arrizabalaga - The Spaniard hasn't been able to repel many shots taken at his goal in recent weeks.

RB: Cesar Azpilicueta - Reece James' injury means Azpilicueta starts out wide, taking away from Chelsea's attacking threat considerably.

CB: Wesley Fofana - Still has some time left to learn from Thiago Silva, who is one Chelsea player who seems to be doing their job properly.

CB: Thiago Silva - Could you imagine where Chelsea would be if Silva hadn't managed 22 Premier League starts this season?

LB: Ben Chilwell - Said his side were "hurt and angry" after the defeat to Arsenal.

CM: Conor Gallagher - Expected to decide his Chelsea future once a new manager has been appointed.

CM: Enzo Fernandez - Will be part of Chelsea teams for years to come, provided he can tough out these horrific opening months at Stamford Bridge.

CM: Mateo Kovacic - Courting interest from around the Premier League, with his representatives talking to Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool.

RW: Noni Madueke - Deserves another start, having scored Chelsea's only goal in three games last time out.

ST: Kai Havertz - The Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang pick didn't pay off in midweek, so Havertz should return to his centre forward role.

LW: Raheem Sterling - Lampard has spoken of his admiration for Sterling and could bring him back into the starting XI.
