Chelsea's 2023/24 season surely cannot be as miserable and tiring as the one that preceded it.
The Blues cycled through four managers and slumped to a 12th-place Premier League finish. They will be hoping that fortunes change under Mauricio Pochettino.
Here are Chelsea's key dates for the 2023/24 Premier League campaign.
Who will Chelsea play on the first day of the season?
In a move that's sure to delight fans of both sides, the Premier League have confirmed Chelsea will host Liverpool on the opening weekend of the season.
The game will take place at Stamford Bridge in the later kick-off on Sunday 13 August.
Pochettino has only lost more games against Manchester City (11) than Liverpool (nine) in his career.

Who will Chelsea play on the last day of the season?
Chelsea's final game of the season sees them welcome Bournemouth to Stamford Bridge.
The Cherries were the only team to lose to Frank Lampard's Blues at the end of the 2022/23 campaign.

When do Chelsea play Arsenal?
Arsenal took Chelsea's place as the Premier League's top London club last season and Pochettino will be tasked with wrestling that capital crown back.
