Casmiro has joked he feels sorry for Brazil's opponents at the 2022 FIFA World Cup due to the wealth of attacking talent the Selecao have at their disposal.

Brazil were one of the favourites heading into this winter's tournament - having lost just two games in the last six years - and backed up that reputation with an impressive 2-0 win over Serbia in their opening game.

Key to any success the South American nation will have at the World Cup this year will be their forward line. Brazil boast the likes of Neymar, Vinicius Junior and Richarlison in attack and speaking ahead of his side's game against Switzerland, Casemiro was full of praise for his teammates.

"We could spend several days talking about Neymar, the player he is, his qualities and how important he is for our team. It's unavoidable - he is our biggest player, the difference-maker in our team," Casemiro told reporters before their second tie against Switzerland.

"However, we have other players that have been performing in the same level like Vinicius Jr, Raphinha, Richarlison, Gabriel Jesus.

"Those of us who play in the back end often joke we feel sorry for our rivals because we can replace Raphinha for Antony, Richarlison for Gabriel Jesus. We have Rodrygo, Gabriel Martinelli. We have a wide array of options [on the bench]. It's great for us. But it does not change that Neymar is our best player."

Neymar is currently out with an ankle injury, but is expected to be fit very soon.
