Graham Potter will take his Brighton side to face Aston Villa in the Premier League this weekend as they aim to spoil Steven Gerrard's bow on the touchline.

The Seagulls are winless in their last seven in all competitions, drawing six times in the process as they hover just outside the European places.

They face a Villa side who have lost their five in the Premier League, although Potter will be wary of the new manager bounce with Gerrard set to take charge for the first time.

Here's how Brighton could line up.

Joel Veltman (CB) - Mr. Versatile, the Dutchman is capable of playing at either wing-back or in central defence when required.

Shane Duffy (CB) - Enjoyed a renaissance this season after enduring a dismal time at Celtic last season.

Lewis Dunk (CB) - Quality on the ball and his leadership qualities are invaluable to this Brighton side.

Adam Lallana (CM) - Enjoying a stellar campaign, producing an impressive performance in the 2-2 draw at Anfield last month.

Marc Cucurella (LWB) - Made a big impact since arriving from Getafe in the summer.

3. Forwards

Solly March (RW) - A Brighton stalwart, the 27-year-old's versatility has proven a key asset for Potter.

Neal Maupay (ST) - The Frenchman has been left out of the team in recent weeks, but he could be recalled in the absence of a cutting edge in attack lately.

Leandro Trossard (LW) - The go-to figure for goals this season for Brighton, netting at crucial moments against Brentford and Liverpool to name a few.
