Maurizio Sarri's Juventus travel to Bologna on Monday evening in Serie A, fresh off the back of their disappointing loss to Napoli in the Coppa Italia final on Wednesday.

I Bianconeri were poor in the showpiece as Gennaro Gattuso's men claimed victory on penalties after a 0-0 draw, with Cristiano Ronaldo failing to take a spot-kick.

The league leaders will need to bounce back against mid-table Bologna, who they narrowly beat 2-1 earlier in the season.

I Rossoblù have not played competitive football since February, with Monday's fixture part of the return of the Italian top flight.

Team News

The home side will be without winger Andreas Skov Olsen after he picked up a thigh injury in the club's return to training a few weeks ago.

While Olsen is likely to be the only absentee through injury, manager Sinisa Mihajlovic will be without striker Federico Santander, defender Mattia Bani and midfielder Jerdy Schouten through suspension.

As for the away side, Sarri will have to do without Sami Khedira and Alex Sandro, who picked up new injuries in midweek, while long-term absentees Giorgio Chiellini and Merih Demiral are still out. Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey and striker Gonzalo Higuaín remains doubts for Monday's fixture.

Recent Form

While Juve have had two recent fixtures in the Coppa Italia, it will be both sides' first game back in Serie A since the league was suspended.

Sarri's men have failed to score since returning to action, but did claim a major victory in the title race in their last league game back in March, defeating Antonio Conte's Inter 2-0.

As for Bologna, the tenth-placed side hadn't won for three games before the abrupt halt to the season, but had claimed three victories in a row before that, including a 3-2 win over Roma.

Prediction

On paper this would appear to be an easy affair for the away side, but the recent lukewarm form of both the team as a whole and star man Ronaldo may inspire some confidence for the hosts.

Despite their position at the top of the table, Juventus have been somewhat underwhelming this season, and have perhaps struggled to adapt to Sarri's brand of football. That being said, it would be no surprise to see Ronaldo back at his best or slotting in a penalty to give Juve a tight win.

Prediction: Bologna 1-2 Juventus
