Bayern Munich's quest for another European title continues on Wednesday when they host Dynamo Kyiv.

Unbeaten in their last 12 and on a run of eight consecutive wins, Bayern are looking like one of the scariest sides on the planet again this year. They thumped Barcelona 3-0 in their opening group game and have since scored ten goals in just two games.

They're obvious favourites, but Dynamo have what it takes to make a game of this. They're unbeaten in the Ukrainian league this year and have shipped just two goals in nine games, all while scoring 25 of their own.

Here's everything you need to know about this one...

Kingsley Coman is back in light training after his minor heart surgery, but he is not ready to return yet and will sit this one out alongside Corentin Tolisso (calf) and Sven Ulreich (knee).

A return to a four-man defence could be on the cards after starting with three against Greuther Furth, and further forwards, there could be a start for Serge Gnabry, who was a late substitute during that game.

Dynamo Kyiv team news

Dynamo are not in a good way right now. In attack, they are without no fewer than four players: Eric Ramirez (COVID-19), Artem Besedin (knee), Vladyslav Kulach (heart) and Ibrahim Kargbo (leg).

They've also lost centre-back Denys Popov to a nasty knee injury, so the job of keeping Robert Lewandowski quiet could be given to 19-year-old Ilya Zabarnyi.

There have been no fewer than ten meetings between these two sides, with Bayern winning five and Dynamo picking up four victories, but only one of those games has been this century... and only just.

Back in March 2000, it was Dynamo who took the points, coming out with a 2-0 victory against a Bayern side which featured a young Roque Santa Cruz and current executive Hasan Salihamidzic.

Bayern's last meeting with Ukrainian opposition was the 2014/15 Champions League last 16, when they thumped Shakhtar Donetsk 7-0 on aggregate, with all seven goals being scored in the second leg.

Bayern Munich vs Dynamo Kyiv score prediction

Dynamo have been a tricky side to break down this season - they held Benfica to a 0-0 draw in their last European game - but this is Bayern we're talking about.

The German champions weren't at their electric best against Furth and still managed to score three goals, proving just how dangerous they can be even when they're not firing on all cylinders.

Julian Nagelsmann's side will have to be a little better than they were in that one, and they almost definitely will be, so a comfortable victory looks to be on the cards.

Prediction: Bayern Munich 3-0 Dynamo Kyiv
