Bayern Munich predicted lineup vs PSG - Champions League
By Tom Gott
After securing a 1-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain on enemy soil, Bayern Munich will look to finish the job and book their place in the Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday.
Public jabs between the two sides have only added to the tension of what was already a mammoth affair and Bayern will look to flex their dominance and dump one of the pre-tournament favourites out of the competition at this early stage.
Here's how Julian Nagelsmann could set up.
Bayern Munich predicted lineup vs PSG (3-4-2-1)
GK: Yann Sommer - With Manuel Neuer still injured, Sommer will remain in the starting lineup.
CB: Josip Stanisic - Benjamin Pavard is suspended and Lucas Hernandez is injured, and it's been Stanisic who has been filling in in defence.
CB: Dayot Upamecano - If Upamecano is fit, he starts. That's been the trend under Nagelsmann.
CB: Matthijs de Ligt - De Ligt opened the scoring in the weekend's victory over Stuttgart and will be feeling good heading into this one.
RM: Kingsley Coman - Local reports have suggested that Bayern aren't high on Joao Cancelo as a wing-back, and it's Coman who has been getting the ned instead.
CM: Joshua Kimmich - The midfield battle will be key to this one and Kimmich will fancy his chances of coming out on top.
CM: Leon Goretzka - Goretzka was quick to remind Kylian Mbappe that Bayern are always favourites in any game they play. The scene has been set.
LM: Alphonso Davies - Davies has two assists in his last two Champions League outings, including for the winner in the first leg.
AM: Thomas Muller - Fresh off bagging the assist for the winner against Stuttgart, Muller should get another start.
AM: Jamal Musiala - Musiala is the first name on the team sheet for Bayern. The youngster is having a superstar season and a big performance here would take that to another level.
ST: Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting - Nagelsmann has warned Sadio Mane that he will have to fight for his place in the team, and it'll be hard to take that away from Choupo-Moting.
