After succumbing to an emphatic Bundesliga defeat at Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday, Bayern Munich round off their Champions League group stage away at Manchester United on Tuesday night.

While Bayern wrapped up top spot in Group A after Matchday 4, they aren't exactly playing for nothing at Old Trafford. Not only can they extend their unbeaten run in Champions League group fixtures to 40 games, but Thomas Tuchel will also be looking to oversee a feel-good victory following the weekend's misery.

Bayern weren't particularly woeful at Frankfurt, but they were undone by a ruthlessly efficient outfit in the final third.

Tuchel isn't expected to make drastic changes to his starting XI, and here's how Bayern could line up on Tuesday.

GK: Manuel Neuer - Neuer had enjoyed an impressive return to the fold before facing up against a mightily efficient Frankfurt side at the weekend.

RB: Konrad Laimer - Tuchel should shuffle his full-backs around on Tuesday with Laimer coming in for Noussair Mazraoui down the right.

CB: Dayot Upamecano - The Frenchman struggled at the weekend but will likely keep his place in the side with Matthijs de Ligt not yet ready for a return.

CB: Kim Min-Jae - Tuchel is short-changed at centre-back and Kim is bound to retain his spot alongside Upamecano.

LB: Raphael Guerreiro - Alphonso Davies produced his worst performance of the season on Saturday, so we could see the gifted Guerreiro earn a rare start for Bayern following his summer move.

CM: Joshua Kimmich - The skipper scored Bayern's only goal at the weekend, but he also played a part in Frankfurt pulling away. He's not enjoyed the best start to the 2023/24 campaign.

CM: Leon Goretzka - With Laimer starting at right-back, Goretzka, who's also an option at centre-back, should continue in the midfield pivot and duel with the similarly profiled Scott McTominay.

RM: Leroy Sane - The former Manchester City winger will be hoping to dash United's chances of advancing into the knockouts on Tuesday night.

AM: Jamal Musiala - Musiala made his first appearance in over a month at the weekend, and he'll likely earn a starting berth at Old Trafford.

LM: Kingsley Coman - With Serge Gnabry out until the new year, Tuchel will likely stick with Coman down the left flank. Mathys Tel is another option for the former Chelsea boss.

ST: Harry Kane - It's now been two whole games without a goal, and the postponed fixture with Union Berlin means Kane hasn't found the back of the net since 24 November. The Englishman must be chomping at the bit.
