Barcelona and Real Madrid will go head to head in an historic Women's Champions League quarter-final second leg clash this week at a sold out Camp Nou.

Barcelona hold a 3-1 aggregate lead from the first leg in Madrid a week ago, although the reigning European champions were flattered by the score-line after struggling to contend with the intensity of Real's pressing and chasing.

Real will be looking for a repeat performance in the hope of causing an upset on perhaps the biggest night in the history of either team. But Barcelona are favourites.

This is everything you need to know about the game...

Barcelona team news

Claudia Pina will be pushing for a start after making a game-changing impact off the bench at half-time in the first leg but competition for places is extremely fierce.

Injuries will ensure that the hosts remain without Lieke Martens, Asisat Oshoala and Mariona Caldentey, although Ana Maria Crnogorcevic returned to action at the weekend after a spell out.

There will be changes from the reshuffled side that beat Madrid CFF in the league on Saturday.

Real Madrid team news

Kosovare Asllani is still out for Los Blancos, as are experienced midfielder Aurelie Kaci and Spain winger Marta Cardona.

Ex-Arsenal defender Marta Corredera also hasn't made the trip to Catalonia.

Barcelona vs Real Madrid score prediction

Real Madrid threatened to expose the blueprint of how to beat this Barcelona side last week. They were unable to keep it up for 90 minutes but will still draw hope and confidence from it that they may not be as far behind the Catalan giants as people initially thought.

This will still be an uphill task though, especially with the hosts lifted by the atmosphere of a full Camp Nou. Anything other than a Barcelona win by a few goals seems unlikely.

Prediction: Barcelona 3-0 Real Madrid
