Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that Ashleigh Neville has signed a new contract which will keep her at the club until 2025.

Neville has proved an inspired signing since arriving from Coventry United in 2017, helping Spurs win promotion to the WSL in 2020.

The full-back has not struggled with the step up to the top flight either, performing well enough to secure the Women’s Super League Player of the Month award in February 2022.

Her new deal, which is a lengthy one by WSL standards, also ends speculation linking the defender with a move to Manchester United.

"I’m super happy here – the girls, the coaching staff, the way we play, how far we’ve come in the last five years - the journey we’re on is something I want to be part of," Neville told the club's website.

"Rehanne [Skinner] and the staff are great, we’re all on the same page. That’s what makes me want to be here even more, knowing that everyone is in it together."

Head Coach, Rehanne Skinner added: "Ash has had an amazing season and is a fantastic person to have in the team. She epitomises what we are about at Spurs; hard work, competitiveness, and desire to improve.

"It’s important to ensure we have players with her quality helping us to progress as a team so that we can keep moving the Club forward."
