Arsenal's race is almost run for another year.

The Gunners' damaging 3-0 defeat at the hands of Brighton and Hove Albion at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday means that Man City are now just one win away from Premier League glory.

Goals from Julio Enciso, Deniz Undav and Pervis Estupinan proved to be the difference between the two sides on the day, with Arsenal, in truth, being out-fought throughout.

Here's Arsenal's best and worst players from the game, according to 90min's player ratings:

Arsenal's best player vs Brighton

Martin Odegaard - 6/10

It's a bad sign when you're highest-rated player only managed a 6/10, isn't it?

Odegaard showed a few moments of real quality on the ball, setting up two decent chances for teammates Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard, but overall the captain struggled to get a real foothold on the game.

Still, he did better than most in an Arsenal shirt.

Honourable mention

Bukayo Saka - 6/10

Again, not the best performance of his career, but Bukayo Saka work his socks off throughout at least.

Up against Estupinan, Saka had his work cut out for him at both ends of the park on Sunday and he performed admirably without provided the much-needed spark Arsenal were crying out for in the final third.

Arsenal worst player vs Brighton

Ben White - 3/10

The England international has looked right at home as a full-back throughout the 2022/23 season, but on Sunday he was ran ragged by a talented Brighton left-hand side.

White struggled to deal with the tandem of Estupinan and Mitoma throughout, and generally looked a bit lost everytime the ball was played over his head on the flank.

All three Brighton goals coming from the left is no coincidence.

Dishonourable mention

Jorginho - 4/10

The Italian international had put in a number of very good performances in the middle of the park since taking over from the out-of-form Thomas Partey, but on Sunday he really struggled.

Up against an energetic Brighton midfield, Jorginho simply failed to compete.

Expect Partey to be drafted back into the starting lineup by Arteta next week.
