Arsenal may have surrendered their lead at the top of the Premier League table on Sunday, but the Gunners remain firmly locked in a three-horse title race.

A goalless draw with rivals Manchester City allowed Liverpool passage to the summit, with the Gunners aiming to put pressure on their title foes when they welcome Luton Town to the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Arsenal won the reverse fixture 4-3 thanks to an incredibly late Declan Rice strike, but will be hopeful of a more routine victory this time round against the injury-hit Hatters.

Mikel Arteta will be aware that his side face a challenging trip to Brighton on Saturday, but the Spaniard has a fully fit squad - bar long-term absentee Jurrien Timber - ahead of the Luton clash.

Here is how Arsenal could line up.

GK: David Raya - Aaron Ramsdale's gaffe before the international break against Brentford has only cemented Raya's place as the undisputed number one. The Spaniard managed another clean sheet at the weekend.

RB: Ben White - The feisty full-back sits above Takehiro Tomiyasu in the pecking order and has been a key component of Arsenal's stern defence in recent weeks.

CB: William Saliba - The graceful Frenchman has been in stellar form yet again this season as he blossoms into one of the most well-rounded central defenders in world football. He simply has to start when fit.

CB: Gabriel - Enjoyed a war of words with Erling Haaland on Sunday and coped incredibly well during duels with the Norwegian colossus. Carlton Morris will offer a similarly physically battle on Wednesday.

LB: Jakub Kiwior - A centre-back by trade, Kiwior's defensive solidity has seen him take Oleksandr Zinchenko's starting spot, with Arsenal looking much stronger at the back with him in the team.

CM: Martin Odegaard - The skipper will be Arsenal's main creator against Luton and he will offer the Gunners some much-needed energy in central areas. He tends to lead by example.

CM: Declan Rice - Jorginho has often been used in the holding role this season, but Arteta may put Rice back at the base of the triangle against Luton to get more creative players on the pitch.

CM: Kai Havertz - One of those that would profit from Rice playing as a defensive midfielder would be Havertz. The German has been in good goalscoring form for club and country lately, although those goals have often come as a centre-forward.

RW: Bukayo Saka - Having been considered a slight injury doubt for the Luton match, Arteta revealed that Saka is fit to start against the Hatters. That's great news for Wednesday's hosts, who have often relied on his ruthlessness and creativity in the opposition half.

ST: Gabriel Jesus - The Brazilian was shunted out wide against his old employers Man City, but could return to playing through the middle on Wednesday. However, he will have to be more clinical than he was at the Etihad.

LW: Gabriel Martinelli - The electric winger returned from injury against Man City but was only fit enough for the bench. However, he should be given the nod on the left flank against Luton, with the Brazilian having netted in the reverse fixture.
