Mikel Arteta will hope Arsenal get the chance to usurp Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table this weekend in their clash with Brighton.

The Gunners are a point behind City having played a game more and host the Seagulls on Sunday after their title rivals visit Everton.

Arteta has a few injury issues to contend with for the visit of Roberto De Zerbi and co. Here's the side he may pick.

GK: Aaron Ramsdale - Recently scooped Castrol's Save of the Month. Go check it out.

RB: Ben White - Has taken his game to another level as he prepares to face former side Brighton for the fourth time. That record stands at one win, draw and loss apiece.

CB: Gabriel Magalhaes - Overcame an injury scare to start at Newcastle, which is just as well considering William Saliba won't play again this season.

CB: Jakub Kiwior - Looks set for a run in Arsenal's last three games over Rob Holding, who had previously stood in for Holding.

LB: Kieran Tierney - Oleksandr Zinchenko's injury issues present an opportunity for Tierney, who has started only five league games this season.

CM: Martin Odegaard - Broke the deadlock early on at St James' Park with his 15th goal of the season alongside seven assists.

CM: Jorginho - Has added a fresh zip to Arsenal's midfield with Thomas Partey out of form and could retain his spot against a vibrant Brighton midfield.

CM: Granit Xhaka - Has been linked with Bayer Leverkusen, though Arteta replied "I’m extremely happy with Granit" when asked about a potential summer departure.

RW: Bukayo Saka - 90min understands Saka's new Arsenal contract will be officially signed off on soon.

ST: Gabriel Jesus - One of four Arsenal stars to record ten or more league goals this season, though injuries mean Jesus (10) is behind Martinelli, Odegaard (both 15) and Saka (13).

LW: Gabriel Martinelli - Leandro Trossard may fancy a starting role against the side he left in January, but Martinelli's pace on the break could prove devastating with a tired Brighton visiting the Emirates.
