Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa has chosen Juventus as his future club, after receiving interest from both Inter and the current Serie A leaders.

The 22-year-old is eager to move to the club next season, following interest from the Old Lady during his current Serie A campaign.

However, Inter have also been tracking the young star’s progress and will see Chiesa’s decision to go elsewhere as a huge loss for the club.

Calciomercato report that the winger prefers to head to the Turin-based club over Antonio Conte’s Inter when he decides to leave his team, which could be as early as next summer – although the Fiorentina’s academy product has a contract with the club until 2022.

Chiesa is currently one of the most exciting young talents in Europe and, as well as sparking interest within Serie A, he has also caught the eye of current Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain.

However, during Fiorentina’s most recent fixture against Verona, the winger remained on the bench due to his mental state.

Manager Vincenzo Montella’s decision to drop his star player has raised doubts about his relationship with the club and whether his future remains in Florence.

Fiorentina were also in talks about Chiesa's future in summer earlier this year. According to reports, La Viola were willing to accept a fee of €70m for the youngster but the deal fell through and Chiesa remained at the club for Fiorentina's 2019/20 campaign.

During Chiesa’s time at Fiorentina, he has made 126 appearances in all competitions – scoring 25 goals and providing 19 assists.

His side currently sit tenth in the league, two places above AC Milan. Their next match sees them take on Lecce at home.

The young player was also out on international duty - starting against Armenia in Italy's most recent 9-1 victory where he managed a goal and two assists for his national side.
