Marcus Rashford may be earning a reported £12m while on loan at Barcelona for the 2025/26 season, but his furniture choices show he’s keeping things surprisingly down-to-earth.

Despite the salary that would allow him to deck out his new apartment with luxury Spanish design, Rashford was recently spotted making a very ordinary shopping trip… to IKEA.

The Manchester United loanee was seen wandering the aisles of the Swedish furniture giant in the city centre, slider-clad and carrying one of IKEA’s trademark blue bags.

Fans were quick to celebrate the moment, with one onlooker telling The Sun: “It was amazing to see such a famous player in a shop like IKEA. He has enough money to buy anything he wants, but maybe IKEA was an easier place for him to go and blend in. Barca fans love it when their stars do things like this.”

The 27-year-old’s loan move to Barcelona includes an option for the Catalan giants to make the deal permanent for around £26m. He has made two appearances so far, including one start, but is yet to register a goal or assist.

Rashford has, however, looked bright and relatively sharp, with his displays - and form at Aston Villa towards the end of last season - enough to convince Thomas Tuchel to recall him to England’s squad for their September internationals.
