Manchester United were unable to see out a Premier League win against Burnley on Saturday afternoon, conceding a late equaliser from the penalty spot at Old Trafford.

Erik ten Hag’s side have failed to keep a clean sheet since 9 March and have now won only one of their last six league games, putting more pressure on their fight with seventh-place Newcastle United for a Europa League place after the Magpies won convincingly to relegate Sheffield United.

Both sides had decent chances in the game, but the contest had looked like it was heading for a goal-less stalemate until Antony popped up with his first strike of the season.

However, Burnley rallied and cancelled out that lead towards the end when Andre Onana fouled Zeki Amdouni in the box with a high arm. The same player then proceeded to score from the spot.

These are Man Utd's best and worst players according to90min's player ratings.

Man Utd's best player vs Burnley

Antony: 7/10

A really tame finish from close-range that was easily saved by Burnley goalkeeper Arijanet Muric kind of summed up Antony's season. He had been a threat on and off, but the next time Alejandro Garnacho got into a similar position after breaking free down the left, he opted to keep the ball for himself and shoot rather than look for his unmarked teammate in the box a second time.

To Antony's credit, he kept at it with a point to prove. So when Sander Berge's ill-advised pass was there to be intercepted, he snatched the ball, burst through the gap and still managed to finish while Berge was snapping at his heels and knocking him off balance.

It wasn't outstanding from Antony - no one in red hit that level in the game - but it might just be the confidence boost that he needs to rediscover his form.

Honourable mention

Bruno Fernandes: 7/10

The United skipper is playing like a leader, but the young forwards around him are perhaps just a little bit too raw to be as effective as he is. Having carried his team in recent games, Fernandes smacked the ball against the post in the first half that might have eliminated some problems later on had it gone in. The middle of the pitch was congested but he did a good job of spreading play wide.

Man Utd's worst player vs Burnley

Andre Onana: 5/10

For more than 85 minutes, Onana was arguably United's best player. He made two outstanding saves in the first half, both from Burnley striker Lyle Foster, among several others over the course of the game. But if the Cameroon international was 90% great and 10% bad, it was the 10% that did the damage and proved decisive, giving the visiting Clarets their way back into the contest from the spot.

Onana got away with a similar incident on his Premier League debut against Wolves back in August when he wiped out Sasa Kalajdzic trying to punch the ball clear. But there was no such reprieve as he clattered into Amdouni, catching the Burnley forward in the face with his forearm. If he'd commanded the situation it would have been fine, but Aaron Wan-Bissaka had already headed the ball away and Onana came flying in too late to reach it. Contact with Amdouni was inevitable at that stage.

Dishonourable mention

Casemiro: 5/10

It's not been an easy few games for Casemiro. The injury crisis at United has forced the Brazilian to play at centre-back and that's a big change even for a defensive-minded midfielder. There were times when it looked as though he wasn't fully sure where he was, while it ended up being his loose header back towards his own goal that led to the incident in which Onana gave away the penalty.
