Manchester City are aiming to inch closer to a record fourth successive Premier League title this Saturday when they host Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The current champions are a point off league leaders Arsenal with a game in hand and know they will claim top spot again if they win their final four matches of the Premier League season. That starts with a visit from Gary O'Neil's side this weekend.

Man City actually lost the reverse fixture back in September, although they have won their last three home clashes with the Old Gold by an aggregate score of 8-1. A victory against Wolves at the Etihad Stadium this Saturday would put them tantalisingly close to another title under Pep Guardiola.

Here's how Man City could line up against Wolves.

GK: Stefan Ortega - An injury to Ederson should see the German return to the starting lineup and he has consistently shown he can step up to the plate for Man City when called upon.

RB: Kyle Walker - Three successive clean sheets for the experienced right-back, who was a key provider during the recent 4-0 victory over Brighton. The impact of his energy and athleticism can never be underestimated.

CB: Manuel Akanji - Ruben Dias missed the recent clash with Nottingham Forest due to illness and could return this weekend. However, Akanji has been in fantastic form, keeping a clean sheet in the Midlands last time out.

CB: Nathan Ake - The Dutchman has also been in impressive form of late and may have nailed down that left-sided centre-back spot between now and the end of the season. Although, with Guardiola, who knows?

LB: Josko Gvardiol - The 22-year-old has scored three goals in his last six appearances from left-back, including a great header against Forest at the City Ground. The summer recruit has starred in recent outings.

DM: Rodri - The linchpin of this Man City side, Rodri is truly irreplaceable for Guardiola. He is guaranteed to keep things ticking in the middle of the park and neutralise any counter-attacking threat from Wolves.

RM: Bernardo Silva - The Portuguese's influence can often be fairly subtle, but Guardiola's faith in the 29-year-old speaks for itself.

CM: Phil Foden - The in-form star missed the win over Forest through illness but should be cleared for a return to action this Saturday. If fit, Foden simply must start based on recent form.

CM: Kevin De Bruyne - He has often ran the show in recent weeks, with four goals and three assists in his last six outings. The midfielder once scored four in a single game against Wolves during the 2021/22 season.

LM: Jeremy Doku - Guardiola has often trusted Jack Grealish to start in recent weeks, but Doku could return on that left flank. His pace and dribbling ability could be handy against a Wolves side likely to defend deep.

ST: Erling Haaland - After missing the Brighton victory with a minor injury, Haaland returned with a goal against Forest last weekend. This fixture screams Haaland hat-trick.
