Man City pre-season 2024/25: Fixtures and schedule

Manchester City will be hopeful of heading into the 2024/25 season with a few more trophies in their cabinet.

Pep Guardiola's side are still fighting for a record-breaking fourth successive Premier League title and they will also contest this season's FA Cup final with local rivals Manchester United. After Champions League disappointment at the hands of Real Madrid, Man City will be desperate for redemption in the final few weeks of the campaign.

Therefore, Man City won't be able to cast an eye to next season just yet, although the club do have a busy 2024/25 pre-season schedule already lined up.

Here are Man City's pre-season plans so far.

Where are Man City going for 2024/25 pre-season?

Man City are joining the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd by jetting off to the United States for the bulk of their pre-season. Their tour begins with a clash against Celtic on 23 July and the Cityzens will play another three matches in North America over the summer period.

It remains to be seen whether or not Man City organise any more pre-season friendlies, with Guardiola never keen to bloat the schedule in the build up to a new campaign. However, there is a good chance they will be involved in the Community Shield on 6 August and will play in the curtain-raiser at Wembley should they win the league or FA Cup this term.

Man City pre-season 2024/25 confirmed schedule

Man City's American tour starts with a clash against Scottish giants Celtic on 23 July in North Carolina, with the fixture's kick-off time - as is the case with all Man City's friendlies - yet to be confirmed.

Guardiola's men then face a battle with Milan at the Yankee Stadium in New York four days later, before the Spanish coach faces his former side Barcelona in Orlando at the end of July.

A team Man City are very familiar with from the 2023/24 season, their final pre-season clash comes against Premier League foes Chelsea in Ohio. The encounter will take place on 3 August - three days before a potential Community Shield match-up.

Man City are yet to announce how supporters can tune into 2024/25 pre-season, simply stating on the club's website: "Television broadcast information will be announced at a later date."

However, they have confirmed the official Man City app and CITY+ will keep fans up to date with the latest pre-season news and coverage.
