After earning some much-needed respite on Saturday, Arsenal can pile the pressure on Manchester City before they face Brighton on Thursday when they take on Chelsea.

The Gunners secured a 2-0 win away at Wolves last time out as they returned to the top of the Premier League table, but their result was matched by Liverpool at Fulham on Sunday.

Mikel Arteta has had the luxury of having an almost fully fit squad at his disposal in recent weeks and the April bouts continue to come around thick and fast for the title hopefuls.

London rivals Chelsea come to town on Tuesday night hoping to wreck the Gunners' title charge and here's the starting lineup Arteta could pick for the Blues' visit.

GK: David Raya - The Spaniard had a hand in Arsenal's victory on Saturday, making a big first-half stop to deny Joao Gomes from giving Wolves the lead. Raya certainly earned his first clean sheet in four games.

RB: Ben White - White has been a constant in Arteta's XI all season and that's not expected to change in crunch time.

CB: William Saliba - Nicolas Jackson's channel running is impressive but Saliba boasts the requisite athleticism to best the Chelsea striker. Those two should be going at it for much of the contest.

CB: Gabriel - An early-season omission from Arteta's XI, Gabriel has enjoyed a stellar campaign since being reintegrated.

LB: Takehiro Tomiyasu - Arteta continues to chop and change at left-back. The Arsenal boss could bring one-v-one specialist Tomiyasu back in for this one, though he may not have to battle Cole Palmer.

CM: Jorginho - The Italian was an unused substitute at the weekend but could come back into Arteta's thinking in midweek. Chelsea cut ties with Jorginho in January 2023 and he's proven to be a rather astute addition for the Gunners.

CM: Declan Rice - Rice endured a blip during Arsenal's eight-day wretched run but impressed at Molineux. Arteta needs his enforcer purring for the rest of the season.

CM: Martin Odegaard - Odegaard continued his excellent scoring run against Wolves on Saturday and there are no doubts over his inclusion for Tuesday's game.

RW: Bukayo Saka - There's unlikely to be any rest for Saka between now and Arsenal's final game of the campaign.

ST: Kai Havertz - Another former Blue who's impressed in north London, Havertz was deployed in midfield at the weekend but has enjoyed far greater success up top in year one at Arsenal.

LW: Leandro Trossard - Sharpshooter Trossard deserves to keep his place down the left after scoring his 14th goal of the season on Saturday.
